The African National Congress (ANC) will hold it scheduled National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting from 28 to 31 March 2025 at the Birchwood Hotel and Conference Centre in Ekurhuleni. This important gathering of the NEC will discuss key organisational matters, the state of governance, economic transformation, and the ongoing work to build a better life for all South Africans. The meeting will also reflect on recent domestic and international developments that impact the ANC’s programme of action.

As the highest decision-making body of the ANC between National Conferences, the NEC is tasked with providing leadership and guidance on critical national and global issues. In this regard, the NEC will deliberate on pressing matters, including the implementation of transformation policies, the political and economic landscape, and efforts to counter misinformation campaigns aimed at undermining progress.

The ANC will engage with members of the media throughout the NEC meeting to ensure transparency and to communicate key resolutions effectively.

MEDIA ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME:

Following the NEC meeting, the ANC will embark on an extensive Media Tour on 2 – 3 April 2025, engaging various television networks, commercial and community radio stations at both national and provincial levels, as well as all SABC African-language radio stations.
